Message from Our Board President

Dear Military Families,

The Military Youth Ambassadors of Utah program is more than a trip—it is an opportunity for young people to build leadership skills, experience a new culture, represent their community, and form lifelong international friendships.

​

Every year, I am inspired by the growth I see in our youth ambassadors. Participants return with greater confidence, a broader understanding of the world, and meaningful connections that often last for years. They learn that while cultures may differ, shared values of family, friendship, and respect unite us all.

​

What makes this program especially unique is that it is not only an experience for the participating youth, but also for the entire host family. During the Utah portion of the exchange, families open their homes, share their traditions, and build personal relationships with their Moroccan guests. Many host families tell us that the friendships formed during the exchange become one of the most rewarding and memorable experiences for everyone in the household.
